Don't know much about WH...except they like to run the ball...and have a very good TB. Anyone have more info?

One dimensional. Strong O-line and D Line. Overall defense is very solid.

WH will try to run the ball 99% of the time even with a loaded box. They will throw occasionally, sometimes with success and sometimes not. They are best at lulling a defense to sleep pounding the ball and then hitting a misdirection play, which is what turned the tide in the Indian Creek game. That and the receiver made a great long reception. Defensively a good spread team will give them a problem as db's are not especially strong. FS helps cover weaknesses in secondary on most long throws, but they are less then stellar in space in the secondary. Front 6 or 7 are pretty good and they will hit you in the mouth. They are a solid team that teams will likely have to put some points on to beat. The basic game plan is pound on you and try and break your will. Turnovers may be their biggest weakness, as they have a tendency to put the ball on the ground.

The game is Saturday in New Philadelphia. West Holmes is not good at all. Sets up a Dover vs Steubenville game once again for the Regional Final.

wouldnt say west holmes is not good at all may be old school but doesnt mean they arent good be careful.

This is my Saturday game of choice. Should be a good one! However, Steubenville's size and ability to stop the run scare me.

Stuey is always scary. W.H. isn't so little up front either. I think I'd be more worried about the pass if I was W.H. When you need it... can you hook it up?

No, but Saturday was the first time all season that I didn't cringe on every pass. These teams sound very similar which should make for a great game.

Even on the under thrown jump ball to the WH sideline?!?! I sure did. Still confused how it wasn't intercepted,knocked down, or incomplete out of bounds.

Not new to this site just rarely get on the forums and comment. Steubenville will win by 21. Dover will beat Poland. This is the weakest this region has been in years. I am definitely walking over the hill to Tuscora Park and watching this game but my personal opinion in West Holmes will easily lose.

Sorry I meant the Steubenville game. Short passes are always high and long passes look like punts.

Ok. My fault. I was talking about W.H. being worried about their own passing game. Should have made that more clear.

WH's best team in a decade...they're good...well executed running game. QB runs the show well.

I like our chances in this matchup, but we must play mistake free football. Can't have the turnovers and missed open receivers. If we can stop their run, which I believe we can, then anything can happen.

Calpreps has this game 28-14 west holmes. I know this is a cardinal Big Red sin, I love the Red, but I feel this is Dovers region, after watching this team all season, I really can't see this defense stopping Dovers passing attack. If they would of made it, Dover/Mooney would of been a great match up.

I don't care what calpreps says, this game will be tough. I would never count out a Big Red team but I think we match up better with you all than Dover. Dover will give any of our defenses fits. You have to have great ball control time killing drives and pray for a couple of stops.

Get some Stoobs....lol West Holmes is no good.
