I don't know about quotas but you're kidding yourself if companies don't look at their staff and go "we need diversity" and then go hire a bunch of under qualified minorities to show they are diverse. This never happens the other way where there aren't enough white people working so the company goes out and hires a bunch of white people.

It's disingenuous to believe that minorities aren't given special treatment in the workplace just so the company can avoid lawsuits.

Here's a 100% true story; we hired a black chick with a journalism degree from a sub-par university to PROGRAM IN C++. She had no C++ knowledge, could barely turn on a computer much less program but she got the job ONLY because she is a minority and the coding team was all white dudes.

No worries though, she was fired a few months later.

Yes companies do have quotas that they set up for themselves in regards to diversity. We have had to do the same thing in certain positions. But in the end we hire the most qualified candidate. If a position needs to be filled we fill it.

This I believe. We had the same thing happen. They hired a black guy with a degree in History for an Operations Manager position. I told them that he would get eaten alive. Dude lasted 6 months. Now I'm on the interviewing team for certain positions lol.

The heavy black print never indicated overthrowing the government or a new social order, or collapse of the system of government did it? You have to clarify you have made an unwarranted statement before this deal can continue. Without the omission of falsification of document content this will end the negotiation.
You still haven’t given the definition of what you presume constitutes as a riot.
Please note that this negation is not predicated on the terms and definition of the Webster dictionary has to offer but on your conceived notion of the terminology.

Nothing has happened nor will anything happen that will constitute a riot. Is this like the riots you right wingers were stating would happen in 2008? They never did and neither will your so called repeat of the riots of the 60's.

Any company that claims to be doing anything because of the election is just butt hurt and being a dumbass. There is nothing different today than the day before the election to take any action on.

Do it when it needs to happen. Otherwise, you are part of the problem, and not part of the solution.

HA! They are outsourcing 125 jobs, and creating 125 more for an Indian company in house. And a whopping 68 more jobs on top of that. Cool story from 5 months ago. This will surely cancel out the 80,000 people that are out of work this week.

What was ridiculous about the Denny's story? And I didn't "claim" it. It's a fact. His taxes (fines) will be going up, just like everyone's. He's passing it onto the consumer, like everyone else will. He's just being upfront about it. Obamacare doesn't kick in until 2014, but taxes start getting collected on it in Jan. 2013. Shame on him for not waiting another month.

There are black people who can program C++ you know, your fault for hiring a shitty employee. That's ignoring the debate about whether you should have to be worried about diversity but since that's the current reality you might as well hire decent people if you're going to try to be diverse.
