honestly, at this point any 4 teams can win it. Akron, OU, Buffalo, or Kent. Both top dogs (Akron and OU) have struggled with Kent and UB.

I'm still hoping my boys from Kent will pull this out. In the past week they lost in OT to OU and beat Akron. They are as hot right now as they have been all season. When the season began, I never thought that Kent would come close to winning 20 games as we have done for the past 12 years with one exception. Now we only have to win one game in the MAC tournament and we will have our 20 games. If we do win the MAC and get the automatic bid, we might just make some noise.

If a 12-loss team from the MAC gets the auto-bid, they'll be a #15 and get steamrolled by a random B1G team probably. At least OU could get a 13-14 seed and be put in a position where they have a puncher's chance.

If Kent can somehow pull out a championship in the MAC, they will be ranked higher than 15th. And I wouldn't bet any money against them in the NCAA. The problem is winning the MAC. That will be a tough road.

No way in hell they will be higher than a 15 if they win. I'd be willing to bet my OC membership on it.

I don't see Akron getting up to a 12, but 13 most likely. Ohio 13-14 sounds right too.

OU was 1/20 from 3 and DJ had 0 field goals. It was bad... easily DJ's worst game ever and the team as a whole hasn't shot that bad in about 2 years.

OU did play that bad. I'm not sure if they actually hit a shot from the field during the entire second half. Fucking pathetic effort when it counts. AKA: The story of this season. All hail Jim Xian.

Akron vs. VCU on Thursday in Detroit... I'm assuming they're going to put a game between 2 mid-majors in the afternoon session if possible.

Ohio to the NIT, at Denver on Tuesday (ESPN3)
Kent to the CIT, hosts Fairfield on Tuesday

Only other school with any shot of a tournment is WMU. CBI always needs teams because no one wants to fork over $60K to host a game that 5 people show up to
