Henderson is trash. God I wish the Handicapped Jimmer Fredette wasn't in the NCAA Tournament. He's insufferable for how average he is. If you are gonna talk smack, you better be elite.

I mean I can respect someone who has made stupid decisions in the past and learned from it. However, you watch Henderson on the court and he doesn't act normal. You can tell there isn't someone always home upstairs.
If you hear him do an interview or read some quotes, he's actually not as bad as he seems. However, image is everything and the image most see on the court isn't highly-regarded.

Top 5? Probably not. Top 10? Absolutely. He has also taken another class to a Final Four and you still have to coach that talent. Its not like they were world beaters as a #4 seed the first time...SportsAndLady;1407400 wrote:Can't stand when people say he's a top 5 coach, just because he won 2 titles.

I love Henderson. He provided the greatest GIF of all time. For that, he will be one of my all-time favorite players lol

If you were a D1 head coach and your team was going to be a top 5 seed in the tourney.....would you let one player have a blue mohawk? I can't fathom a coach allowing that.

Does it matter? Where do you draw the line?
No headbands.
No tattoos.
No forearm sleeves.
No high socks.
No dreads.
No facial hair.

There's some story behind the blue mohawk -- the kid has worn blue hair in every game this season -- but I agree that as a coach I would not allow it.

I can't imagine possibly caring about that if I were a coach.Ironman92;1407427 wrote:If you were a D1 head coach and your team was going to be a top 5 seed in the tourney.....would you let one player have a blue mohawk? I can't fathom a coach allowing that.

Coach K had a rule -- whether written or not -- of no facial hair for a long time. Brian Zoubek was really the first player that sported it, and then Miles Plumlee and Ryan Kelly followed.Azubuike24;1407428 wrote:Does it matter? Where do you draw the line?

No Duke player wears dreads though. Lance Thomas had infamous dreads during his prep career in N.J. -- they were long -- and they disappeared as soon as he stepped foot on Duke's campus. He never had them again.
I also don't think that headbands worn by one or two guys is really promoting the "team" concept. That's just my opinion. It is interesting that I don't think I've ever seen a team with a headband win the national championship (unless Corey Brewer did at Florida, but I can't remember). It just seems like it's something more individualistic teams do (e.g. Jason Kapono at UCLA).

Blue hair just looks stupid and is completely unnecessary. That would be why I would not allow it. It's as simple as that. That's just my preference.

I still crack up when I see the old guy with the orange vest sitting there calmly, then stands up and starts to get angry.
The black dude with the white shirt never moves, never changes his facial expression. He has a "this is fucking awesome" grin on his face. It's almost like he's photoshopped in there...

Nothing wrong with headbands if you have short hair. I honestly can't stand the sweat when I work out after I've recent buzzed my hair. When it's long it doesn't drip. When it's short, it does and fuck that. Headbands that serve an actual purpose are fine

No. Why would that make any difference? It's hair. It doesn't impact anything about his or the team's level of play.Ironman92;1407462 wrote:Would you care if you coached at OSU, UNC, Duke, UK, IU?
