Siva blows, but look at Louisville's resume: lost to Duke by 5, Georgetown by 2, Syracuse by 2, and Notre Dame by 3 in 23 OT. The only "bad" loss was Villanova by 9, and that was a tie game with under 5 minutes to go.

They're in every single game, and they almost always come out ahead. 9-4 against the top 50. They're a team I would hate OSU to face. Best defense in the country, which would be a nightmare for the Buckeyes.

Duke's 8-2 against the top 40 and 10-2 in their last 12 games. With Ryan Kelly in the lineup, the Blue Devils are 7-0 against the top 40, 4-0 against the AP Top 5 and have won 18 in a row with a victory over Louisville.

I've been critical of Duke all year, but the numbers, especially in such a watered down year, don't really lie. It's just my opinion.

I fucking hate Duke, but I don't see any way around it, especially if they win the ACC tourney. They're hot right now and I may have to begrudgingly take them far in my bracket.

Way to use Windows XP. Must feel really cool using an operating system that's 12 years old.

They're a good team obviously, I just think Scott and Craft would handle their guards defensively. Ohio State would struggle on offense but I think they could get 8-10 steals and 15-20 fast break points and that would be the difference.

It's funny how people have been dismissing Indiana. They've played in a considerably stronger conference than Dook, and still have the Big Ten championship tournament to go.

If they both win out, there is no doubt that Indiana deserves it.

Nobody is dismissing Indiana. At least I'm not. The Hoosiers are the favorite heading into the NCAAs.

My first criticism is that you have too many teams. You basically have eight 16 seeds. There should be 2 plus the 4 for the play-in games. You added 2 extra at-large selections. Also, Robert Morris lost.

Aside from that all that stands out is I would say you have MTSU and Wichita St too high.

Okay, fine...but Duke being the overall #1 is laughable at this point. Just because they demolished UNC doesn't mean they've earned it.

How is it laughable? That's an absurd statement. I'm not sure how many times I have to go over the numbers, but I will do it again since you apparently have not read them.

DUKE

AP RANK: 1
RPI: 1
SOS: 1
RECORD VS. RPI TOP 40:
9-2
RECORD VS. RPI TOP 25: 5-1
RECORD VS. AP TOP 5: 4-0
RECORD WITH RYAN KELLY: 18-0
RECORD VS. RPI TOP 40 WITH RYAN KELLY: 7-0
TOP WINS: RPI 3 Miami, RPI 4 Louisville, RPI 16 Ohio State, RPI 18 UNC, RPI 18 UNC, RPI 20 Minnesota, RPI 26 VCU, RPI 27 NC State, RPI 40 Temple, RPI 54 Kentucky

Give me a break.

Changed it out. Obviously some of the auto bids will change as the tournaments conclude.

OK. Not going to argue with you. You've clearly not watched Indiana this year. They're a more complete team, and those numbers you posted are pointless. I especially laughed at the Ryan Kelly record, LOL

That may be, but I got news for you, those are the exact numbers that the NCAA Tournament selection committee are going to review and if Duke wins the ACC Tournament, they'll be the number one overall no matter what Indiana does.

I do, however, think that Indiana is the favorite heading into the NCAAs, as I said.

I completely disagree, but whatever. I'm not going to convince you otherwise.

I'll be impressed if they even win the ACC tournament. Duke is overdue for a bad loss

I could be mistaken, but I believe you still have an extra at-large (neglecting Patriot League... Bucknell). You still have Robert Morris in there too.

Baylor being in as an at-large is a joke. 3-10 against the top 50 and 4-6 in their last 10 doesn't cut it at 18-13 overall.

Well, Duke has won the ACC Tournament 10 out of the last 14 years, so it's probably not out of the realm of possibility.

Personally, I'd rather Duke get the exact amount of respect that they seem to be getting, which is none. (And to be fair, after the loss to Lehigh last year, I can't say I am surprised. But it should also be noted that this year's Duke is not last year's team.) Flying under the radar is always easier than having all the pressure on you.

You're right. I do have 1 extra team. Baylor was the last one in, so they get bumped.

Baylor is the team that doesn't deserve a bid but is probably better than all of the bubble teams that make it in.

They're either not gonna make it, or they'll make the sweet sixteen as a double digit seed.

duke is the team to beat and they will be the #1 overall, not that it really matters. While the rest of country struggles to score the basketball duke has 5 guys capable of putting up 20 points on any given night. They shoot the 3 extremely well and they have an inside presence . Their only minor flaw might be depth.

I watched the Zags last night and I was not impressed. Their guards are susceptible to pressure and I think Olynyk might struggle against an athletic big man. That being said, they do deserve a #seed if they win out. They took care of their business while other teams faltered.

Looks good. The #3 and the #4 in the south look soft....but I know they have pretty much earned their spot, but I'm not buying either past the 1st round.

A must-win today for the Temple. The Owls closed the first half on an 11-0 run to get within 36 to 41 of VCU. The Owls have so much talent. It's painful to watch them squander it some nights. They did a great job of fighting back after VCU's constant pressure led to a big Ram lead early. It was 41 to 25 with about three minutes left in the half.

The key to beating VCU is keeping composure and getting into the half court. Temple did a nice job of that in the last few minutes.
