Anyhow, the Cavs young guys are coming along but they are very soft and get pushed around a lot.

Zeller gets thrown around like a doll on a nightly basis, the kid really needs to spend some time in the gym. Vucevic is very solid and he's going to be a good player but he's not nearly as good as we made him look last night......not yet at least

Yeah Zeller is just a step slow for the NBA. Paint defense has been a huge problem for the Cavs and Zeller is the primary culprit. Also, the Cavs double down low too much....which opens up the wide open 3. Reminds me of the day when the Cavs gave away the Orlando playoff series by implementing the same practice. They should have let Howard get his and stop the barrage of 3's by their wide open guards.

KR1245;1385618 wrote:Why take jumpers when you can get to the rim? His jumper needs some work but its not nearly as bad as you would like it to be. He will be over 15 pts a game and 40% shooting by the end of the year, that's pretty damn solid for a NBA rookie.

"dunk shots"? sounds like something my grandma would say
He's good at getting to the rim...if he doesn't plow over people on the way. His turnover margin is really bad, rookie or no rookie. And if you think 40% fg % equates to being good, then I would suggest you review the average shooting stats for NBA players.

But I guess you're right....I'm the only guy that calls zero footers dunks. LMAO. Right now Waiters is a D player. Hopefully, he gets better. He is one of the major reasons why the team is still 20 games or so under 500.

How do you think Zeller is doing with his dunk shots?

Im pretty good at dunk shooting on my mini basketball hoop hanging on my door.Ive mastered the art of the tomahawk as well as being able to throw it off of my wall, then catch it in mid-air and dunk shot it home two-handed. Still have some work to do on my between the legs stuff-shot.

Have I ever said that everyone is bad on the Cavs? Might want to review the past 3 pages. I love Speights and I've been an Andy V ball hugger for 6 years.

Why the need to make shit up?

Happy to hear how accomplished you are. My guess is that you can drain them from outside better than Waiters too.

Dion is having a fine rookie season, not every rookie is going to set the league on fire from day 1. We havent even hit the all-star break of his rookie season and he's already a D player? I'd hate to see what you would give Harrison Barnes or some of the others guys that the Cavs were considerring.

Footwedge being an idiotic downer. What a surprise /sarcasm

Good thing I really value his opinion of a player on a team that he hasn't even watched a full game of, and admited to only watching a little bit of 10 games. Also /sarcasm

Exactly. Pretty much every rookie is stinking it up this year outside of Lilliard.

Lillard is only shooting 42%. He obviously sucks too. If you aren't shooting at least 50% you're a D leaguer.

Denver is the 2nd best team in the West, IMO..

However, these refs are fucking HORRIBLE.

It didn't go over my head.....putting 10 stars around the correction should have been obvious. How'd Dion do tonight?
