That wasn't really running it up. Ohio St ran the play 4 straight times. Make a tackle Nebraska.

First down with 43 seconds left. Take a knee.

It doesn't bother me, but I feel like Bo will try some shit next year.

Bo shouldn't be there next year. Nebraska needs a new coach.

Jaylon isn't going anywhere he has been set on ND from the beginning and has recruited a bunch of other guys to play with him

lol, Nebraska could still go to the Rose Bowl this year, especially as weak as the B1G is.

I don't think they play for 2 straight years, but yeah, I didn't like it. Enjoy the victory and show some class in the victory formation. Starters shouldn't be in the game with all the injuries while you're up 18 with 40 seconds left anyway.

Still not sure how I feel about this game. The stats were almost identical, total yards, first downs, etc. I don't like that 38 points were scored and there could have been more. The 4 turnovers, punt return td, and pick 6 proved to be the difference. So if Nebraska sucks, OSU does too....just hold onto the ball better.

What a game for the offense, and John Simon played like a grown ass man!

LOL, 4 straight 4 loss seasons. He isn't a very good coach. Underachievers.

I agree with this. Frank Solich got fired for better overall results.

He went 9-3 the year he got shitcanned. Not many can say that.

He had two 4 loss seasons in 6 years (mind you one of them was a .500 year)

If I recall, we don't play Nebraska these next four years (unless a Big Ten Championship match-up occurs).

You forget, Urban said he would try to score 100 points every game this year.....can't play in the B1G Title game, can't go to a Bowl game.

Dude also took a hit to the head. Noticed several other hits like that today. It's only a penalty in The B1G.

Pains me to say, but Braxton is good. And he will only get better. I never bought into the hype about TP, but I am buying into the hype about Miller.

agree. braxton is a legit stud. Just gotta get some more studs around him.
And I don't think Urban knows how to take a knee--he's the anti-tressel. If they would ever meet and shake hands they would probably both disintegrate into a poof of energy.

Some thoughts about tOSU defense: Still a bunch of missed/poor tackling. It almost cost them at MSU, looked bad initially last night until the offense exploded and made it a non-issue. But can't help but think sooner or later it's going to cost them. Granted, we are still a work in progress, and need to get more stud players on both sides of the ball. But this defense has some very good players. how much of this can be hung on Fickel? he showed last year he certainly wasn't ready to be a big time program's HC. Not sure he's a legit DC either. Gotta think there was some provision for keeping him on as DC after last year when it was apparent he was not going to have the job for more than a year. Also, gotta think Urban probably would have brought his hand-picked DC along with him, just as he named all the other asst coaches he hired, and not likely Fickel would have been that guy had it not benn "part of the arrangement" to hire Urban. To me, poor tackling is a coaching problem. If no improvement as time goes on (unsure how much time) could Fickel be replaced?
And on a separate note, how and why is Gene Smith still here as AD????
