Not sure who I like in this game yet. I want to lean towards Nebraska, but I'm not sold on them at all, especially after their game with Wisconsin.

This is a real toss up, IMO....Bucks by 3, if they win the turnover battle

No idea how Osu is undefeated...
Anyhow, Nebraska has a terrible qb, so I think Osu wins by 10

24-14 OSU.
Side note- if Christian Bryant is starting this week, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with out depth in the secondary. Who taught this guy how to tackle while not using his arms?

If Barnett is back I really hope to see He and OJ as the safties with Doran Grant at the Star. I don't think they will take a spot from Bryant though.Benny The Jet;1283974 wrote:24-14 OSU.

Nebraska is 5th in the nation in rushing at 305 yards per game and have 3-4 really good running backs. Their offense is a lot better than MSU's stagnant offense, that is for sure. They do, however, have a tendency to put the ball on the turf. Last night they spotted Wisky 14 points by giving them the ball inside their own 20 twice.

I think Nebraska wins it. They have a pretty potent or atleast capable of being potent offense. Cant comment on their defense.
I think we are going to have Taylor Martinez go full retard like his freshman year and have a few bad turnovers for us to win the game.

I keep picturing last year's disaster when the Buckeyes jumped out to a 21 point first half lead at Nebraska and then imploded when Miller hurt his ankle in the 3rd quarter.
If Ohio State can keep Miller healthy, if the crowd gets loud, if Meyer calls a good game, if the defense stops arm tackling, if there are few - well - no turnovers....then the Buckeyes have a shot.

I'd blame the defense more than anything. Miller got hurt and missed one offensive play around the time Nebraska made it 27-20 in the 3rd quarter. Granted the offense didn't do much after that but the defense got steamrolled the rest of the game.believer;1284057 wrote:I keep picturing last year's disaster when the Buckeyes jumped out to a 21 point first half lead at Nebraska and then imploded when Miller hurt his ankle in the 3rd quarter.

Nebraska is really bad on defense (much as the Buckeyes have been until Saturday) Taylor Martinez is much like Braxton Miller and Denard Robinson, a great runner but an inconsistant passer. He's not a bad QB, rather kind of scary (a big play waiting to happen). Hopefully the Buckeyes continue playing tough against the run and I think that they can win this one 38-24.

The arm tackling is the key. What an embarrassment by our defense.believer;1284057 wrote:I keep picturing last year's disaster when the Buckeyes jumped out to a 21 point first half lead at Nebraska and then imploded when Miller hurt his ankle in the 3rd quarter.

At least we know that Bauserman won't be coming in if Miller gets hurt...that was brutal last year

I'm actually very confident that Guiton can come in and run this offense very similarly to the way Miller runs it. He may be a better decision maker. Braxton missed A LOT of reads, but his athletic ability makes up for it, most of the time.vball10set;1284288 wrote:At least we know that Bauserman won't be coming in if Miller gets hurt...that was brutal last year

This is how I feel as well. Guiton came in and didn't miss a beat and drove right down the field.se-alum;1284296 wrote:I'm actually very confident that Guiton can come in and run this offense very similarly to the way Miller runs it. Anyone heard anything about Verlon Reed, I know he is dressing, but is he still recovering from the injury? He impressed me in his limited time last year.
