I think the Kings got a good deal.

Robinson isn't "old", but he's gonna be 22. He's only 2 years younger than Patrick Patterson who has put up far better numbers.

And Byron used to coach NO.

No way. Houston trade raped the Kings. Pair Robinson with Chandler Parsons with James Harden coming off the bench and you have yourself a solid core for the future.

Oh I can definitely see why they made the move. I'm just not sure the Kings saw Robinson as being a can't miss guy or else he would've been untouchable...

Nasty dunk.

Azu, just because a Wildcat was involved in the trade, doesn't mean that team automatically got the better end of the deal lol

Trading a 5th overall pick after half a season is just retarded...and 22 isn't young? lol come on

watching the opposing benches react on monster dunks is awesome. this one isn't as good but you can tell they are trying to hold back from openly cheering.

I'm not disagreeing. I was just comparing Robinson and Patterson. They have pretty similar games, similar size. The Kings apparently didn't think Robinson was worth keeping with that offer...not sure if that's them admitting to a mistake in taking him so high or just felt it was a good deal.

I do think it's clear that the Rockets are paying highly for the "potential" here...it isn't exactly a sure-fire win for them.

I have read it was a salary move(getting rid of Francisco Garcia...I guess). But why give up on Robinson halfway through his rookie season when you passed on better players(Lillard, Barnes, Drummond, Lamb, etc) to draft him? At least let his rookie deal play out.

I wouldn't be surprised if Houston did this deal to go all in on Howard in the offseason, again.

Lillard, Barnes, Drummond for sure are better. Has lamb even played?

Marcus Morris was also traded yesterday to the Suns...paired up, again, with his twin brother Markieff.

Lilliard is a shoe-in for ROY. The next best player is Waiters believe it or not. The Cavs have drafted very well as of late; TT and KI are the best players from 2011 and Waiters is #2 for 2012. Grant is GM of the year IMO.

Only in production, not long term.

I would put drummond right with Dion, before the injury. His per was like 25, which is amazing for a rookie

Production is all that matters.
