Obama has spent 4 years telling the American people what they want to hear, why would he have stopped with Benghazi? Can't interrupt a campaign for that. And, if not for his handlers, he wouldn't have interrupted his campaign for the hurricane, either.

He knew it was a terrorist attack right away and he wanted to still try to convince the American people that the war on terror is over. That there is nothing to see here, hence the blaming of the YouTube video, even though he knew it wasn't true.

He made the argument at the debate that he came out and called it an "Act of Terror" the next day in the Rose Garden. He implied that he knew it.

Here what I want answered:

We know there were several people in that annex at the time the attack began on the consulate. We know that two of the people at the annex were ex-navy Seals, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. We know that Woods could hear the shots coming from the consulate and that he called his commander and reported that the consulate was under attack and that he and Doherty were going to take some men and go help Ambassador Stevens and the others. We know that Woods was ordered to stand down. We know that Woods called his commander again an hour later because the attack on the consulate continued and he could hear explosions and he again asked permission to give aid to the people under attack. We know that Woods was ordered to stand down a second time. We know that Woods and Doherty disobeyed that order and fought their way into the consulate and got several people out but could not find the Ambassador. We know that Woods and the others fought their way back to the annex which was then under attack, also. We know that they got a man in position on the roof of the annex and painted with a laser the mortar attackers were setting up and asked for an air strike and reinforcements. We know that no aide was given. We know those brave men fought for four or five more hours and were finally killed by a mortar round. Knowing a little about military operation a Seal knows that painting an enemy position will give away your position. No soldier would paint an enemy location without knowing that air support was available. He was told that there was back up I’m sure of that…. .

Who gave the order to stand down? Who gave the order “not to engage on the laser coordinates”?

Someone is responsible for those deaths ……………. They did not have to die.

Letting four Americans die without the effort of military support available, requested by ground observation is a act of Treason…

Photo ops in the situation room, free advertising speeches to raise his likeability, while his 'handlers' and surrogates fabricate a Romney "position" on FEMA. Oh, he didn't stop campaigning, he just used what was available.

Oh, I fully agree. Was really just trying to make the point that left to his own devices he wouldn't have stopped stumping. Obviously one of his advisers decided he needed to be in Washington, and of course don't pass-up the photo op. LMAO, those photos him in the situation room are probably of them discussing strategy, polls and voting numbers.

Strange how those photo ops appear at operations he deems a "success"....eg. the photos of him in the situation room during the operation to get Bin Laden. When our embassy was attacked in Benghazi?....photo please.LOL

Republican Sentors are pushing for the Benghazi investigation to be unclassified, currently it will be classified. Surprising since Obama promised the most transparent administration of any POTUS.

Obama's incompetence is very transparent for everyone to see.
