Use Navy Seals to kill OBL in Pakistan, ignore Navy Seals getting killed by terrorists in Libya. Seems fair enough. ;)

breaking news...no links yet. Being reported on Fox that... 3 seperate requests from the navy seals killed at Benghazi for back up help were issued over the course of the 7 hour attack...and they were denied. Delta Force was available and ready in Italy, but remained grounded apparently upon orders to 'stand down'.

The reasons for the apparent spin coming out of the White House in the days following are becoming obvious.

Take the time to read this link, it is the interaction between Obama, Biden and Clinton, with the father of one of the Seals killed during the attack. Sicking stuff, in it Hillary tells him "we are going to get the person who made this video". And here I thought they said they new it was a terrorist attack. they left these men to die, and simply sat by and watched it happen.

But but but but it was the youtube video. Fog of war. Excuses. Excuses. Excuses.

Just unreal the level of incompetence.....BTW it took Peggy Noonan 4 years to figure it out but she destroyed the administration in her WSJ column.

I think it was Ed Klein yesterday who was talking about the serious clashes between Bill and Hillary over whether or not she should get out from under the bus and release documents showing that she asked for more security long before the attacks in Benghazi.

Bill wants her to protect herself (although she is in no way without blame), but she is refusing because it would cost Obama the election.

It is VERY obvious that the Clintons and Obama hate each other. Perhaps that's a side product of being the "big tent" party, when you gather up a group of malcontents it is inevitable that they will turn on each other.

obama -- abdicating his primary constitutional duty: protect Americans.

He should resign, today.

It's looking more and more that he knew within 2 hours of the attack and that he refused to authorize deploying military help.

ABC is unbelievable....they have the president on for an interview and refuse to ask him the question of whether or not he was aware of the attack in real time and whether or not he refused to authorize an available military force.

read the fluff questions and the spin here;
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/10/president-obama-says-he-had-not-been-aware-of-prior-security-requests-from-diplomats-in-libya/

..this is nothing more than an Obama commercial.

Did you catch the Brian Williams interview with Obama on the campaign trail? I almost couldn't believe it. He just teed-up some softball questions on key issues like this (and others) and let Obama deliver spin without so much as a follow-up or pressing question. At one point - I kid you not - Williams asked "why is this election close?" and almost looked to be crying he was so troubled by it.

Of course Obama knew about the attacks within 2 hours, hell I guarantee he knew within 10 minutes. You don't think that an attack on a US Ambassador doesn't have numerous protocols in place for this exact situation? Does anyone honestly believe that the WH was not aware within minutes of the fighting taking place? The United States of America, the world superpower, and the President didn't know for up to 2 hours that one of his ambassadors was under attack? Please. These are the same people who know every single text message you send, yet they can't get a message to the Pres. when a high ranking US official is being attacked?

^^^^We don't need him to resign if we just vote him out. Sadly, there are people that are going to support him if he murdered grandma. I'm not sure how bad it has to get before some abandon him SMH. This should be the final straw for anyone that isn't a card carrying member of the DNC.

1) stagnant economy despite huge deficits with no real plans to change.(definition of insanity)
2)Incompetent handling of foreign matters especially in crisis mode.
3)enacted and proposed unpopular legislation, mandates, and policies that push the limits of constitutionality.(if not violate completely)

That's just a few of the lowlights. Feel free to add more.

QO call for resignation does bring up a question...that is, the handling of the Benghazi attacks is going to be investigated by congress in November. What happens and how long will this occupy our national attention and will it hamstring us if the president's actions and conduct is found wanting.

A Denver news anchor asks the tough questions....and the Pres. ducks. "We are going to find out"....
http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2012/oct/26/denver-anchorman-grills-obama-libya-attack/

I'm sure we are...after the election.

....and finally CBS picks up the story.

I still believe this race is too close to call.

I would not be surprised if the DNC has done an adequate job of busing in enough early voters, illegal voters, and dead voters to squeak out a Barry Re-up. Meanwhile the MSM media will pat itself on the back for assisting with the making (rather than reporting) of American history. Then they'll immediately focus on the Benghazi scandal to line their own pockets.

This country is nuts.

I think it will be very interesting to watch the reporting and how perception changes after Obama is voted out. I'm not sure of the veracity of stories (coming from both sides, by the way) about Obama being extremely arrogant and aloof and sort of my-way-or-the-highway.

But mainly I think liberals will be EXTREMELY upset over what they will view as a real knockdown to their agenda. Think about it, Obama swept in with tremendous populariy and mandate, along wih control of the House and Senate that Repubs had almost no ability to stop. Wet-dream scenarios, here. And it took Obama, Pelosi & Reid less than 2 years to absolutely fucking blow it.

Ultimately after the dust settles I think Obama will come to be known as a mostly incompetent POTUS that really focused all of his time on campaigning and giving speeches. He was probably better suited for Chris Matthews job than George Bush's.

I think this is spot on.....and no where is this more obvious that in his handling of this crisis.
