Two years ago you also said with confidence that the Dems would not only retain the House but add seats because the polls said so.

I said this then and I'll say it now...The only poll that matters is the one that occurs on the first Tuesday of November.

Actually, you don't have to guess, you know the answer.
And what about that "trajectory" going back to, say, April? Aside from a temporary Clinton-bump after the DNC, Obama's lead/gap has been slowly but surely eroding. They may have slowed, even stopped, the bleeding with attack ads the past few months, but Romney pretty much blew all that up last Wednesday.

IMO, doubling down on the faux "real Romney" strategy is going to fail for them. Indications already today they are "rebooting" the strategy to sway enough marginal voters on foreign policy. That has a chance, but obviously Obama cannot go toe-to-toe on the economy. I don't think character attacks and policy criticism devoid tangible substance are going to sway the marginal voter on the economy.

Nov 6th cannot arrive soon enough. :)
Holy shit, Batman!

Pew is likely the most Left-leaning polling organization in the country. If they have it Romney +4, it may actually be +10.

These analysts just in general...A week ago Repub turnout will be hurt because they don't think Romney can win. Now latest polls are going to help Obama because it's looking like he could lose.

That's what you get with professional spin artists.

As for the above poll, 20% think Obama won the debate? Let's not call them (and a similar % on the Repub side) absolute morons, but it does go to give an idea of people so deadset or enamored on a position/candidate that nothing anyone says or does can sway them.

Where, oh where, is that tolerance that the Left is seemingly so fond of?

The same place it was when they supported slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, etc. etc.

Look at the most outlandish race-related comments from prominent politicians the past few years, and almost all came from the lips of Democrats- Reid, Clinton, Biden.

It really does take courage to be black and not walk in step with liberalism.

Signs don't vote, but I had to drive from Ohio to Roanoke, VA to Danville, VA and finally to Bristol, TN today and it was at least 5-1 Romney signs. I bet I saw more Sportsmen for Romney then actual Barry signs.

I hope Ryan is ready for a Biden performance like what the liberal media keeps accusing Romney of. You know Biden has been getting an intensive crash course in Chicago politics, and Biden is well-suited to the Costanza model "it's not a lie if you believe it".
