Good episode. I would say the only safe characters would be Rick obviously. Daryl, due to his popularity. Then probably Carl.

I've lost a little interest in the show honestly. The finale didn't leave me excited for next season at all.

I didn't mind the finale.

I loved when Carl served Rick.

Yeah, I'd agree it was just meh, alright. Nothing exciting like last year.
I did like how Rick has found his humanity again, but it was just odd how they did it.
Everything just seemed too drawn out, but I guess they are willing to do that as long as ratings are high.

I still like the show, but it has slipped a little lower on the pole for favorite show, with Mad Men and Breaking Bad still taking the top spots.

Now that Mazzara is gone, I hope to see them step it up in season 4. If they lose even more viewers with another bad season then thats when the show will tank. Most of the damn episode was spent on Andrea picking up pliers and a boatload of commercials. They need to leave the prison and get to D.C. which is where the comics go next. The whole prison and woodbury arc is done and over with. They better not spend half of season 4 on the Govener getting payback.

Tigerfan00, quick question for you. What does it matter if Mazzara is gone? I thought he was a big part of the writing and IMDB says he's only penned 7 of the shows so far.

Well, they added a whole bunch of new bodies to the cast. They'll be able to have some carnage next year.

Agree the season as a whole was pretty weak.

On the bright side, that bitch Andrea is finally dead! Now you just need to get rid of Carol and Carl

I hate how the show advertised the week leading up to it that "27 characters would die." All it did was lead to a major disappointment. I was hoping they'd weed out the groups, kill of Woodbury and start fresh next season. Instead...we still have the governor and we're still in the prison...with a LOT of old people and kids.

How exciting....

Finally caught up on season 3. We dumped directv after the first episode of this half season and I hadn't watched any episodes since. I agree with hasbeen, when you can watch a bunch of episodes in a row the boring ones aren't as bad. Curious to see what they have planned for next season. Hopefully they kill the fucking Governor in the first episode so we can get that out of the way.

I have a feeling he will be hidden for most of the season but occasionally pop out and kill someone. Although I liked my brother's idea more. He said it would be cool if the governor was gone for most of next season and then showed up at the end with a new group. My opinion of the show dropped a little bit but I'm hoping they move on to other story lines that I keep hearing about.

Once the novelty of the zombies wears off, the show is basically just a crap western with the good guys trying to settle down and the bad guys trying to take it away - i.e. martial law.

The zombies need to evolve to something a bit more challenging. They are barely a nuisance at this point.
