It was an all american effort by the D, and yet they got gouged for 460 yards of offense.

We get 4 turnovers, the Eagles had 12 penalties for over 100 yards, and yet find a way to lose the game.

Would anyone have found that imaginable before the start of the game?

I hope the defense comes out and talks shit about Shumur and his offense, because it is criminal that they had to lose the game because of the ineptitude of their head coach and the side of the ball he insists on controlling like Stalin as far as the playcalling.
5 trurnovers and should have been 6. OIC. McCoy should have been in the game after the missed Philly field goal...and at the end of the game.

Prehaps the Browns should adopit an offensive game plan based upon punting on first down in order to allow the defense to stay on the field

Yeah iggy, that's exactly what the team needs. The defense really should publicly call out the offense. That will turn this season around!!!

Brinda just asked a good question.

Were any other plays called that Richardson up the middle and a slant?

QB controversy????!!!!

There has to be 2 inept QBs (at the very least) to have a QB controversy. Both of our QBs suck donkey dick. Who gives a shit who they play.

I'm just waiting for you, BR, and the rest of the gang to admit he was a terrible pick. He fucking sucks.

Maybe it will shame them into working harder and looking like an NFL unit next week.

The defense was loaded with rookies, and they didn't shit down their leg.

Remember when people thought drafting a 30 year old system QB in the first round was a good idea?

In before: "It's only the first game. Typical Browns fans over reacting."

No, fuck Weeden. I know it was a home game, but they should fly the team to a different city, just so they can forbid him on the plane ride home.

S&L and I said before the draft about how troubling Weeden's 45% completion rate under pressure was, because there's pressure on EVERY play. Seriously, at the very least move him to shotgun. He's awful.

Yep. This guy gets it (and has gotten it from the beginning).

My whole argument about weedon was give him a chance to play before we declare him a bad pick. Now we saw how shitty he was, yes bad pick

Really it wouldn't have mattered. Do you think RGIII would have had 320 yds and 2 TD's in this offense? Maybe over the course of 4-5 games total, but he would be castrated just like any other QB in a shurmur offense.

No admission here. He looked like shit today but I'm not passing judgment yet.

I expected a few INT's but missing TWO wide open receivers for TD's is inexcusable. Had he hit on those passes I could say, "yeah, he looked bad but he contributed to the win." Today he was a main reason for the loss. McCoy got 21 games. I'd like to see Weeden a little longer before jettisoning him out of here. Shurmur, on the other hand....

Never saw Frye or DA play that bad...ever. Well, except the time DA threw 7 picks against the Bengals.

No coach in their right mind woukd have stuck with Weedon after the first half and certainly not after the third quarter. And this time, you can't blame it on the receivers...at least not in total. The shithead Little needs to be cut immediately. But Weedon had a receiver 5 yards open in the corner of the end zone and completely missed him.

And inspite of all that...Fort drops an interception thrown right to him.

Eagles Elwayed the Browns...92 effin yards.

It's a good thing the Browns didn't go "all-in" on rgiii. He was horrible today.

Yeah....2 lob interceptions down the right sideline by Cromartie...and 2 wide open receivers in the endzone overthrown by 10 yards.
