Eh, prayer isn't about asking for things from a genie, so I'm not sure why asking for things is the only time it can "work," but by what knowledge to you claim that it only "works" when a person doesn't pray?

A buddy of mine is currently chasing Issac down in Galliano, LA which is an hour south of New Orleans. Said this...

"Really surprised by the duration and power of this storm. Not at all what I was expecting. For a Cat 1, it's just epic. It's got to be the worst Cat 1-- from a size and power standpoint-- ever to hit the USA. And while it's large, it's not a sloppycane-- the highest winds of the night seem to be happening right now, very close to the center"

This I believe is the 20th one he's chased

Galliano is legit. Lots of money there. A gator farmer Down there is a legit billionaire, don't know how he did it, but his farm is cool. He has a white alligator thats neat.

Plus its where 50% of the helicopters that service GOM operations are based. So they will have it cleaned up first.

Actually Houma, LA is well south of NO; I know someone there and the wind has hit 50 mph (not bad), but the issue is going to be rainfall; they were already pretty well saturated. They need to storm to move quickly or they will have flooding issues.

Looks like an area full of gators. I originally thought it was North of LA, why my joke about needing a boat. (oops)
Noticed on the map it's surrounded by lots of bays and lakes.

Makes me wonder, how close are those swamp gator hunter tv shows on Discovery channel to Gallino?
