I like the blue side of the helmet. If it was solid blue with the logo on both sides, it'd be pretty sweet. The rest of the uniform is alright IMO

And, these are for the Shamrock Series vs. Miami. Are they wearing anything special vs. Navy in Ireland?

They needed something to get their fans excited for the upcoming season since they sure as shit aren't winning a bowl game anyone cares about and its too early to take about next season as their season to win something relevant. Good for ND.

I must be missing something. What is so hideous about those? I think they look fine. Not awesome but don't see the problem with them.

It's just a matter of opinion is all, just like with Maryland's last season..some loved 'em, some hated 'em, some really didn't care.
