It's hard to watch.
It's a stupid rule....quit being the State Patrolman that writes the ticket for going 56 in a 55. There nothing that stupid in track or swimming once you reach the Olympics.

In the end, Jordyn Wieber has first world problems.
Time to move on.

Yeah....we can really fathom the moment and feeling equal to her.
She'll move on and help her team get gold....but let her grieve a bit. No pressure at all.

Depends on how you look at it. In gymnastics only 2 people can compete for the medal in all-around. In swimming, you can only have 2 swimmers per event. Sounds exactly the same to me. Track is different as a country can have 3 athletes per event.Ironman92;1236775 wrote:It's hard to watch.

I'm sure I've never wanted to reach thru the monitor and just gangster slap anyone more than those two idiots. I'm hoping their entire community ridicules the shit out of them when they return to the US and they have to relocate.Ironman92;1236712 wrote:The video of the girl gymnasts parents during the uneven bars was priceless.

Looking at the video recap provided by Fox of these two idiots I noticed the Dad was wearing one of those Polo shirts with the super large polo player logo on the chest which only rappers and other urban youth morons wear...so it was confirmed this guy was a douche bag even before he made a complete ass of himself last night.

Like I said, it depends on how you look at it. The gymnastics process is a bit different in "when" they make the final selection, but the end result is the same. Both sports allow only two athletes for the event from each country. Does when the selection made really make that big of a difference to you? I personally don't think when is a big deal as the end result is the same.Ironman92;1236862 wrote:"once you reach the Olympics"

From the early goings this looks like it'll be a very competitive game. I was expecting a better looking crop of girls from Brazil though.tk421;1236949 wrote:US vs. Brazil indoor volleyball now on NBC.

They looked good for the most part. Concerns from first set is service errors and the tips from Brazil hitting the ground.
