I don't know if there are many posters on here from Southern Ohio, but this coming Monday/Tuesday are going to be a couple of great days of basketball.

Ironton Classic

I'm really looking forward to seeing Oak Hill Academy play. According to the Ironton Tribune, they have some great players, including a 7-1 290 pound center from Spain. i've never seen a high school kid that big, damn.

Tickets for the games are $8.oo a day. That is good for all games and you may come and go as you please. I believe again this year you may park at the Ironton Hills Shopping Center or at the High School. There will be shuttles going back and forth all evening out to BWW and the IHSC. Seating capacity will be no problem, the Conley Center @ Ironton High holds many fans. Not your typical high school sized arena.
As most of you know Oak Hills Academy is one of the premiere programs in the country with numerous D1 college talents. They will be playing defending D1 state runner up Cincy Princeton and Ohio State commit Jordan Sibert.

It looks like we won't have to worry about the weather here, but I wonder how it will affect those teams traveling.

Will there be audio/video feeds of these games? Please post if so.
Campbell Memorial is once again venturing down to Ironton. Due to my work schedule, I cannot attend. But listening or watching the games over the internet would be great.

If you are unable to make it to the games and are out of the listening area of Ironton foxsports then here is a link that will assist you in getting to listen to the action. All 8 games of the Ironton classic will be aired live.

Thanks much. Campbell loses to Princeton 84-69. Despite being down by as many as 20, the Devils hung in there with one of the better D-1 hoop teams in Ohio. Jerah'me Williams took game MVP honors in a losing cause with 28 points.
