Agreed. The only way the NCAA should have any right to make a ruling and hand out the death penalty is if the PSU administrators facing charges are determined to have blatantly participated in a coverup. That hasn't been proven. It's only been speculated based on Mr. Freeh's incomplete information and the opinions he drew from it.

If a coverup really did happen and PSU's administrators are found guilty of such in court, I would think a complete lack of institutional control in the highest degree, as far as I understand it, would warrant the ultimate penalty for a university sports program. Death.
