Crowe no longer fit into the team's plans. We have plenty of left handed hitting LF's who hit sub .250...He had his shot, and he didn't make it. Pretty typical organizational move.... They don't see a place for him, he's no longer a prospect, nobody will trade you anything for him, he's taking up a spot that could be used to advance a younger player. It sucks for Trevor, but unlike most young men who chase the big league dream, he had a good shot, and more than a cup of coffee in the majors. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone take a flyer on him, and offer him a minor league contract.

Tomlin vs. Matt Moore tonight.
Like Tomlin, Moore has had a bit of an up-and-down season. He won three straight starts in early June, but he's just 1-1 in four starts since then. The 23-year-old rookie is 5-6 with a 4.42 ERA on the season.

Well, there's no day off for Druby. Now 1 for his last 26. Hopefully Tomlin has a good performance.

i understand he isnt a top prospect anymore. but why not use him as a second or third player in a trade. atleast he would be useful for something then.HitsRus;1227150 wrote:Crowe no longer fit into the team's plans. I don't know if Tomlin's pitching or mustache is worse.

Only good news is that the Angels have jumped all over the Tigers. 7-0.

Tribe lose. Tigers lose. White Sox win.
Scoring is again the issue.

how about thinking outside the box....
Anyone in favor of putting Santana on the trading block this year? think we could get anything for him? he hit some homeruns last year(is on pace to hit less than 10 this year), but other than that, his numbers continue to fall every year. not to mention he isnt exactly an above average catcher or first baseman. Marson doesnt have the power at the plate, but i'd take his average numbers with the better defense behind the plate.

This is fun. Here is an article Bill Simmon's wrote about Jim Dolan being one of the worst owners ever.
Of course, Jim Dolan is our esteemed owner's nephew so it obviously doesn't fall far from the tree.

I love how Luke Scott sucks and even he is smart enough to try and beat the shift. Hafner just tries to hit it harder.
