I guess I'll just go ahead and start my 5th series thread in a row.

This is a 4 game series with the first 3 starting at 7:10 and the Thursday game starting at 12:10.

Time to get those bats going.

McAllister on the mound for the Tribe tonight against Cobb.

Choos leadoff HR was called back and into a 2B. It didn't matter cause he scored anyway, my question is...why didn't he get a 3B? Pretty clear to me he would've been in standing. Upton had to backtrack to CF to get the ball...

Indians have 23 series left. They will probably have to win 20 of them to make the playoffs.

Because it is a "ground rule" double. In other words, the "rule of the grounds". Pretty sure there is no such thing anywhere as a ground rule triple.

Oh well, like you said, at least he scored!

I was coming on here to say "Tampa Bay is so bad offensively". Then I looked it up, and saw that Derek Shelton is their hitting coach.

Suddenly the complete lack of an offensive approach makes sense.

Tribe leaving runners all over the base paths. Druby Cabrera can't hit his way out of a paper bag.:(

LOL. I'm glad he's in TB ruining their hitting prospects, instead of ours.

Been watching on and off. McCalister has done a nice job. Not pounding the zone but getting guys out.

6 IP 1 run 3 hits. I'll take it.

The team will be arrested for littering, as they continue to squander scoring opportunities.

"it takes a village to raise a man". Ha ha!

Joe Smith can't pitch tonight because he exceeded his 2 innings or 3 whatever (cue Footwedge).so because of the way the game is played today we get Assgascan Rogers.

Lord have mercy.

Oh, another nice job by Sipp....sarcasm.

Just a thought:

Let Pestano finish the whole game.

And here's my point. Why not let him start the 9th?

He struggled last inning a bit. But I like that he came on in the 7th. Should have been in soon Jennings hit that homerun.

Golden sombrero for Druby. Hopefully 2nd half 2012 isn't going to be a repeat of 2nd half 2011.
