Fans got their money's worth in this series with very close wins in all three games. Reds get back into first place by themselves only 3 games after coming home from the west coast on a 6-5 road trip that left them a game behind. They are now just where they were(1 game ahead of the Pirates) 4 games into the road trip after they blew the Sunday game to the Giants.

Usually the left coast swing cripples the Reds, however they have came back with 3 huge wins over the Cards. Bailey pitched very well and the bats and base running came through.

Huge game for Bailey. 2 years ago or even a year ago he loses it, but fought back tonight.

As whoever else said, huge statement series right there. Chapman is such a badass.

Dead on. And because of the last few years, I didn't trust bailey in the 8th when the first two men got on. Then he pitched brilliantly to get out of it. Huge confidence boost for him that hopefully he builds on.
