Great job by our two All-Stars today. I am trying to stay positive about Perez, though. He just better keep his mouth shut this time and lay off the tweeting.

We've been consistently average this year though, which is about right. Last year was 2 months of way better than they actually were, followed by 4 months of way worse.

It is a sad state of affairs that our minor league system is so devoid of prospects considering the amount of guys we've traded away over the past 5 years. We should be overflowing with prospects, and instead are completely barren.
