In all seriousness, Walt is a kingpin now. Time to ditch Skyler and get himself a trophy wife, one that won't bitch about where the money is coming from!

I knew 'Walt' 30 years ago when he lived in Daytona.

Let there be no doubt that Walter White is the biggest bad ass on TV after that opening scene!

His presumption and ego is definitely at an all time high. Great opening.

I am going to miss Mike. Walter is completely out of control right now, and the net is closing in.

This show continues to be incredible. Todd or Jesse are going to try to fuck over Walt in the next episode, that sort of betrayal necessitates buying an M60 in a Denny's.

He is now. Officially a kingpin...I think. Kind of odd to see a guy with that much leverage/power with no real army.

It's clear to me that Todd is the future. He will put the bullet in Walt's head....Jesse has morals.

On a side note, their portrayal of the DEA is fantastic. They seem incompetent, but slowly close in. Hank is much sharper than you'd give credit for.

Why would Todd try to screw him over already?

I think buying the weapons has more to do with the fact that Walt is essentially alone right now.

That gun has to come in to play in the next episode, right? Curious how they will progress the show, if so, since this season started on his 51st birthday and that scene was on his 52nd birthday. It seems like they've only progressed a few weeks so far this season.

the whole situation is a giant mess...Because of where he shot Mike, he can't make it look like a suicide which would be ideal. Now that Jesse isn't helping, who is going to help with the body...cuz you know he wants to dispose of it. Should be an awesome mid season finale.

Remember the hint they dropped about Todd having "prison connections" I am wondering if that comes into play next week with Walt searching for the 9 names (you know he is going to want to try and kill them all).

This was just so bad ass last night.

They split the final season up. So, it doesn't necessarily have to happen next episode.

In the previews for next weeks episode, they showed a prison scene with some blood and a prison shank falling on the floor. So, I'm guessing things get taken care of.

I realize this, but that seems like a dick move, foreshadowing something that won't happen for more than a year.

Vince Gilligan is already a dick for making this season over a year long. So I dont put it past him lol.

He's gone full kingpin now with his first "cold-blooded" kill of Mike. The other times, I think, he killed out of protecting his own life. You might argue that was the motivation behind Mike, as well, but I think it had more to do with keeping Mike away from Jesse. Or actually, I guess it was because he was worried about Mike getting flipped. But to me killing someone just to keep them from talking is a drug lord/mafia move and different from killing Gus.

And now he's probably going to off Celia and the 9 guys in prison. The lawyer would also be a loose-end.

I wonder if a potential ending couldn't be Walt killing off anyone and everyone that can connect him (including his wife) and basically riding off into the sunset. But while Hank seems to be a bit of a bumbling idiot, he's actually relatively effective.

Gillian has basically admitted that Walt dies at the end.
