Why the hell would he make a 52 out of his bacon then? And fake IDs almost always have your real birthday on it (at least the month and day) so that when you're asked you instinctively answer and don't fumble about trying to remember what the fake said.

And yeah I know it's a pretty big leap forward in time (especially for this show) but I'm sure that's was actually his 52nd birthday.

I thought that was one of the weaker episodes in a long time(still better than most of the garbage on tv), but I think it did a great job of setting up some future craziness.

Mike pulling the bait and switch on that assassination attempt was hilarious.

I really liked that episode... Thought it had some great exchanges between characters.

Next week looks insane.

I agree. The start of this season has been really weak by breaking bad standards.

with the way season 4 ended, its kind of expected imo. The storyline needs some time to build back up.

Why do people say this whenever a series isn't constant action and explosions and shit?

Doesn't have anything to do with "explosions and shit". It has to do with I thought it wasn't as tense and actually had some down time...which hasn't been the case since season 1.

That episode was awesome, at least the ending.

When Hank was talking with his partner and boss, then he goes "Had him over for dinner, all the time he was a different person" (or whatever it was). You could see a light kinda go off in Hanks brain. His eyes kinda changed and his look was kind of like, "Holy shit, Walt is right under my nose."

I think he is on the verge of figuring out something he doesnt want to figure out.

Because in a television series, some episodes aren't as good as others. And the 2 most recent episodes would fall into that category.

In the first episode when he's in the diner this is in the future? or currrent? I was kinda confused on that scene because they then cut back to the ending of season 4.

I missed that part. Some child abduction alert ran across my screen for like 2 minutes and when it finally stopped, it went to commercial.

It's his 52nd birthday in that scene which would make it about a year in the future.

Same here and the alert was pointless. An alert for the following areas "State of Ohio"...yeah, I'll be sure to keep an eye out.

pretty interesting episode. its going to start heating up again, imo. The downfall of Walt is going to be him always wanting more.

Loved how they set up their new operation..

One thing, solid episode, but that scene with marie and skylar was annoying and I wanted to mute the tv so bad...god i hate those two.

Also, who is flying too close to the sun?

Mike seems to be the obvious choice, or at least thats what they want you to think. Marie is my sleeper pick with her interrogating Walt.

The cooking scene was beautiful. I was confused at the end by what he was referencing Victor for, still don't understand it lol.

It's starting to become clear though that Jesse is the grounded one out of the two and he's starting to realize it.

Edit: I think what Walt meant by that is if Mike starts to get "close", Walt will take Mike out and warned Jesse of it.

Good episode. You can definitely tell that Walt is never satisfied and wants more. I also think this will come to hurt him soon.
