He gets you 14 and 11 without having to run a play for him and that's a me guy????hoops23;1227461 wrote:Lol ok man. You're the only person I know who claims to watch the Nets, yet doesn't feel Kris is a me first guy.

Nothing is imminent, to steal a word, but I have this feeling that Dwight could be a Laker by the end of the week.

Yeah 3/5 from 3, I was watching. He's actually not a complete waste. Seemed like if he plays with confidence he can do some damage, unfortunately at OSU he played like a scared little puppy.robj55;1227775 wrote:Mullens went for 33 last night

He had a high percentage of garbage time stats last season.robj55;1227586 wrote:He gets you 14 and 11 without having to run a play for him and that's a me guy????

I remember when Rose and Beasley were taken 1/2 in the draft. Their first summer league game was against each other. Rose looked like shit and Beasley had a monster game...
We see what that mattered.

I think he plays hard. Usually have to, to get a lot of garbage points. That's pretty much all Andy V gets, and it's because he plays hard.

Obviously, I mean they weren't very good so they were behind a lot. Still doesn't change my perspective on him. If you can get 14 and 11 and a block out of someone who you don't have to run a play for you take that every day of the week. He plays his ass off and has earned that contract imo.hoops23;1227888 wrote:He had a high percentage of garbage time stats last season.

He has a lot of talent, he just has to learn and play hard. He actually played hard on both ends last night. He can score inside and out, runs the floor well and is an exceptional athlete. He's still no where near where he's going to be/needs to be though. OSU never utilized him properly imo, but that's a whole other debate.lhslep134;1227799 wrote:Yeah 3/5 from 3, I was watching. You're right, it doesn't always matter. For young players it can be a breakthrough in terms of confidence however. Some players have enough talent where they are going to figure it out regardless of how they play in the summer, some need that court time though and confidence builder.hoops23;1227890 wrote:It's summer league.

I didn't say garbage stats, I said garbage time... He picked up a bulk of his stats while his team was getting blown out.Midstate01;1227900 wrote:I think he plays hard. Usually have to, to get a lot of garbage points. That's pretty much all Andy V gets, and it's because he plays hard.
I'll look for the article/reference when I get the chance... I saw it while it was rumored that he was coming to Cleveland and it kind of changed my perception about him. I guess he's not a very good teammate either.

To be fair, wouldnt garbage time for the nets have started in the 2nd quarter most games.

When the opening tip-off happened, garbage time began for the Nets.Midstate01;1228072 wrote:To be fair, wouldnt garbage time for the nets have started in the 2nd quarter most games.

He also dropped 15 points 15 times last year and had a 30 point game. All I said was he's not a complete waste, I didn't say he was the second coming of Dirk Nowitzki lolhoops23;1227890 wrote:It's summer league.

Dirk on welfare.
As cruddy as the Bobcats were last year...when they were pretty competitive early on he was big in nearly everyone of those games. Gotta keep improving on defense and rebounding....but he's a matchup problem on offense.

As a cavs fan I would love it too. Especially because Bynum is willing to sign the extension with Cleveland. And they would easily be a playoff team next year and a crazy good young corr

I don't know about easily, but they could definitely make a run at the 7 or 8.

Irving waiters probabled hedo or j rich. Then either zeller or Thompson at the 4 Bynum at 5. With gee, boobie, samuels, av off the bench. I'm guessing Thompson or av go in the trade. With an improved kyrie and the Bynum and add in waiters who if averages 15 is a huge upgrade. I could see around 4-5-6
