[LEFT]An assistant cheerleading coach at Shelbyville High School has been arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student.[/LEFT]



[LEFT]Megan Crafton, 22, Indianapolis, turned herself into police on Friday with her attorney's assistance, said Lt. Mike Turner of the Shelbyville Police Department.Police first learned in February of a possible relationship between Crafton and a male student, Turner said, and conducted a "long investigation looking into all the evidence in the case."Crafton bonded out of jail the day of her arrest, Turner said.Crafton admitted to police that she performed oral sex on a member of Shelbyville High School's boys basketball team in January, according to a probable cause affidavit.

[LEFT]The teen-ager told police the incident occurred in Crafton's vehicle while the two were in the parking lot of a Shelbyville grocery store, the document states.

Crafton faces a felony charge of child seduction and is scheduled for a pretrial hearing at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Shelby Superior Court.[/LEFT]
