Would love for Druby to get real hot. He can carry an offense when he is going good.

Masterson is dealing. Only 61 pitches through six innings....

Lonnie Chisenhall has really been turning it up. I'd love for him to live up to his potential with the bat. I'd be ecstatic with a ~.265 BA and 20+ homers from him in a full season.

Was a shit call. I can see a meltdown in a close game, but come on. Tribe pen will never blow a 5 run lead late.

I don't disagree. But you can't make THAT bad of a call at anytime.

This is another example of why you don't get too crazy when a team goes thru a bad spell, or too ecstatic when they hot. Baseball is a long season, and it is made up of winning streaks and losing streaks...and in the end you add them up. If your good streaks are longer and more numerous than the bad ones, you are going to be at the front of the pack. What's the difference between the Indians from last week to this week?... nottafukking thing....except that last week they played bad and lost.... and this week they played well and won.

Enjoy tribe fans while it lasts. After this weekend, the tribe plays about 35 straight games against teams with winning records.

Division might be had with 79 wins this year.

I see what you did there!

Nice to return the favor to the Reds. Also helps my bet with Justin.

You still might be in trouble with that bet.

After splitting the series this year, I think the Indians have won 8 out of the last 12 against the Reds.

I'm still not getting too high on them. Detroit is starting to come on strong. I just don't see them (Tribe) there in September unless they acquire another starter and a legit stick.

...and I wouldn't get too ectstatic either. They are neither as bad as they looked in Cinci...or as good as they looked the past series. Teams are going to be making deals in the next month that will tip the fragile balance in the division. It is important that the Tribe make the right moves....and I think ultimately what is done off the field in the next month may be as big as what the team itself does.

Agreed on all points.
