Polo grounds is where Mays caught Wertz's bomb in the 54 Series. Had to have gone 470 feet. Dusty Rhodes hit the game winning homer to right...a massive clout of 281 feet. OIC. BTW...I read about that...didn't see it....I'm not as old as dirt....maybe BRF was there at the game:laugh:

^^^Thats what makes that play so incredible. The distance the ball had to travel to keep the runner from tagging successfully at 3rd!

i'd welcome his bat (although it can be painfully streaky at times) and we'd be upgrading from the worst defensive left fielder in the game to the second worst lol

I would definitely take Soriano. RH, and can hit HRs. Fielding sucks, and he is nothing compared to what he once was. But he would probably be able to bat 4th for us. I mean, shit...Jose Lopez is batting 4th tonight.

Brantley has been awesome since Acta got his head out of his ass and switched he and Kipnis, and then subsequently switched Choo and Kip.

Little worried here. Pestano is not sharp with his slider. Usually he has that and the FB going, which makes him so tough.
