I support Dusty on this one. He is an offensive replacement in the #9 spot that will keep the pitcher in the game should it be tied and go to extra innings. The most important thing over the long haul of the season is to win series, especially at home. And the Reds didn't do that this week, losing two heartbreaking rubber games, and letting their lead in the division evaporate.
Important series coming up this week with Cleveland. Both teams at 32-27, and both no more than a half game out of their division leads.
