Chapman's incredible streak is over and he's coming back to earth.

I'm not saying ALL this happens if Homer stayed in for 1 more guy, but Dusty should have never taken Homer out when he did.

Meso has to smother that pitch that allowed the 7th run in from 3rd!

I'm of the opinion that dusty did everything right on pitching changes, but the hot streak for the entire bullpen, like Chapman's personal one, is over!wildcats20;1195019 wrote:I'm not saying ALL this happens if Homer stayed in for 1 more guy, but Dusty should have never taken Homer out when he did.

Gotta remember it's only the 8th. No need to swing for the fences right now.

Unreal. I'd have never seen it coming. Kinda feel like dusty felt the pressure. That you HAD to get this game. Now it's all blown up. And again unless we get some hits, votto probably won't get another at bat.

Dusty made the right call. Guys gotta execute. Homer was well over 100 pitches when he was taken out.

I believe it clipped the Jersey too. Angel would have had a very good night of decisions if the ball/strike calls would have been left to a computer. He even wanted to do the right thing by letting the run in from first due to fan interference, but the other umps over-ruled that!

Amazing that chapman got the big boys out but gave up the lead to lesser players. Crazy game!

No, it didn't. I watched the slow-mo replay about 10 times on the DVR.kayo;1195022 wrote:Yup. Clipped his jersey.

In what stadium can you get a Taco Bell burrito? That commercial is bizarre. Also when did getting a ball at a baseball game make you a "hero"

Tigers getting ALL the breaks tonight. Strike calls, foul balls like that one, hbp that weren't hbp's.

I just watched the replay of the "hit" by pitch and 100% without a doubt it didn't get jersey.

The first one was. It hit the jersey. The 2nd one that scored a run really wasn't close.Midstate01;1195036 wrote:Tigers getting ALL the breaks tonight. Strike calls, foul balls like that one, hbp that weren't hbp's.

Hit it the other way Phillips. We don't need you trying to hit it 900 feet.

Don't forget Angel calling the play at home safe before he even touched the plate. No, he wasn't out but you do not give a safe call until he touches the plate. Hernandez has been awful tonight.

Angel was going to call that a strike. He REALLY wanted to. And it wasn't close.

And no, I'm blaming him on the Reds losing. They completely collapsed. But he has sucked. Big time.
