Is that why Joey didn't make a productive out and just get the runner over for BP? Trying for the RBI when the more proper fundamental baseball play would be to be sure you at least get him over. Orel is right, that was a tough play to be able to get the out, and Brandon did the right thing for the team and risked the error, and it didn't work out. Votto didn't do the right thing from the team standpoint, and we won't know if it would have worked out in an additional run if he would have!
