Was he wrong? Ibaka runs his mouth and comes out as soft as a pillow. 6 pts, 7 boards. Good job.

The NBA is unwatchable. The Heat go to the rack and get foul shots, three times while I was watching with no contact. Westbrook attacks the basket all night... 3 free throws... All in the last 3 minutes. Gtfohwts

Agreed. I tried to watch the first couple of games, but really couldn't stick with it for long stretches. Didn't watch one second of last night's game, but was cracking up reading this thread while watching reruns. My biggest issues are the flopping by Wade and Harden, the officiating is absolutely terrible and the damn games start too late. The NBA just continues to get tougher to watch over the years....but it passes time when the Tribe isn't on I guess.bases_loaded;1205943 wrote:The NBA is unwatchable. That guy is a "point guard" (i'll use that term very loosely) who's job isn't to shoot 32 times. There's plenty of guys on that team that can score if given open looks and more of them. You don't get open looks when your pg is shooting 32 times without a single pass. Your other scorers can never get in a game when your pg is shooting 32 times. You're giving the other teams offense more shots when your pg is shooting 32 times. They don't need Westbrook to shoot it 32 times and score 43 pts. Westbrook needs that b/c that's his game.Crimson streak;1205927 wrote:Your bitching about a guy that scored 43 on 20-32 shooting? Who else was going to score? I won't watch the next game? Will that make it better? How could I determine it is unwatchable if I didn't watch the refs and announcers have to guess at who "fouled" wade on his missed layup?
You probably didn't realize you didn't like pussy till after you tried it... Same thing

I love to blame Westbrook as much as the next guy but he was sensational last night. It doesn't matter what position you play, when your hittin shots like he was you keep shooting.

There is a reason that the NBA refs were trending worldwide last night.bases_loaded;1205943 wrote:The NBA is unwatchable. It's not Westbrooks fault entirely... He's playing the wrong position. But who the hell is going to play the point on that team?
Irregardless, they won't beat Miami playing like that.

If Westbrook got the fouls the heat were getting he probably has another 10 points.

If Westbrook ran an offense Miami gets way less scoring opportunities and OKC get's better looks from purer scorers like Durant.bases_loaded;1205967 wrote:If Westbrook got the fouls the heat were getting he probably has another 10 points.

It's a popular topic becuase they were awful and one-sided. You don't just become popular by being good, solid refs.ernest_t_bass;1205969 wrote:Because it's a popular topic?

And you should always use correct punctuation if you're correcting someone's grammar. It loses it's edge if you don't.

It's pretty embarrassing watching the Finals this year. The refs have been god awful and clearly one sided. The Heat play very physical on one end, and the Thunder barely touch anyone on the other; and who gets all the fouls called on them? The Thunder.
Go figure. Shit is rigged.

No shit. It's like a good offensive lineman in football. If he's doing his job you don't often hear too much about it but if he's screwing up, EVERYBODY knows about it.SportsAndLady;1205975 wrote:It's a popular topic becuase they were awful and one-sided. I can agree with this. For a long stretch it was just pure Iso offense. Not going to win with that because it allows the defense to rest.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1205974 wrote:If Westbrook ran an offense Miami gets way less scoring opportunities and OKC get's better looks from purer scorers like Durant.
