I just want to know how many people here have had a coach call call up a play and tell his pg "I want you to push the ball up the court, take an off-balanced/contested shot, dont even think about passing it, and try not to take more than 6 seconds off the clock .... Bc Westbrook literally does that 10-15 times a game and apparently it's to be heralded because he was able to score 43 pts and still lose.

Stop making sense.

There is a reason he has played the 2 his entire life.

Which makes it even more hilarious that people are actually saying OKC is getting screwed out of winning this series. They were LUCKY tonight, despite having a 17-point lead at one point, to keep it close...

Durant can't even get open half the time because of Lebron/Battier, who else is going to score in that lineup?

I'm sorry... It just drives me fucking nuts to see basketball played like that. And people fucking wonder why they're down 3-1.

Who the fuck has a chance to get open when not even 1 fucking pass is made? How the fuck can anything ever develope with Westbrook at point? I feel like I'm watching basketball at the god damn park.

Way worse because it much more negatively affected the game to the disfavor of his team because he didn't know the rule.

Pretty good game....too much unnecessary contact and at one point nearly every player to touch the court flopped at least once.

Westbrook is a blast to watch. Durant with his instincts, 7'4 wingspan and his jumping ability....I'm short old and fat and would've totaled the same number of rebounds. OKC has no offense.

Mario Chalmers was the difference tonight IMO....he's been awful but was great tonight. LeBron had 12 assists with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Wade hit some 3's.

James Harden is perplexing he's been about the 7th best player in this series...disappointing.

It seems like Ibaka plays the first quarter then never reappears. Collison seems to get things going but never plays.

Game 5 could be the series....Miami looks pretty good....but an OKC win and then win 2 at home and it'll be Miami Heat/LeBron talk forever...it'll suffocate too many other stories people give a shit about. Ironman02 loves Duke. I want the Heat to finish it in game 5 and we will have to endure too much Heat/LeBron for about 4-5 days and then it'll fall way down the topic headers in the sporting world....and we will ALL be happy for that.

At least I was right that Westbrook would go for 40. I didn't expect the loss though

They are down 3-1, because that is the way Mr. Stern wants it.

Durant 2 rebounds and Harden sucked badly....a bigger concern IMO for tonight's game.

You may be on to something. I just read on Twitter that Stern actually texted Westbrook and told him to foul on that jump ball.

Hard to get rebounds when your pg is chucking shots before an offense can even get set.
Hard to get hot when your pg is chucking it 32 times and your looks are minimal.

No excuses for Durant to have no rebounds in 3 quarters....Harden was scared to shoot....ridiculous.

That is not an excuse for the lack of effort he has shown on the boards and on D.

Please tell me how Durant is supposed to get a rebound when he's posted up 25 ft from the basket trying to get the ball and Westbrook throws up a shot without a pass

Anybody ragging on Westbrook is an idiot. Without Westbrook, OKC would have been blown away and the game wouldn't have even been close.

Nobody else, including KD, stepped up big tonight. Russ was doing everything he could. He got them back in it and eventually got tied up. Westbrook didn't miss that 3 late in the game, that was Thabo.

KD needs to do more for OKC to have a chance. Harden needs to sack the fuck up as well; he's playing like a bitch.

LBJ is incredible and is the best player in the world. But this is why Cleveland fans were/are pissed off at him. At any time he's capable of taking over a game or series. He quit on Cleveland. You'll never tell me that it wasn't planned for those guys to join up in Miami... LeBron knew what he was doing. Winning a title in Cleveland would have kept him there with very good teams, but they never really would have been in position to grab another superstar.

I do think LBJ comes back to Cleveland when their contracts are up. Miami will win this year and MAYBE next (OKC will have more experience next season) but DWade isn't going to be at this level forever... LBJ will be able to come back to Cleveland and pair up with Kyrie, T2, and whoever else the Cavs select in the lottery this year :D

LeBron helps Cleveland win a title and all is forgiven. Trees and buildings resurrect and Cleveland rises from the dead.

And if you think the Heat are only winning because the refs are giving it to them then you are fooled.

Hopefully you don't have a desire to ever coach.

Your bitching about a guy that scored 43 on 20-32 shooting? Who else was going to score? No one else could score last night he carried the thunder
