You're in Hawaii?? Aloha!! We live on Hickam afb. I've never done that trail. Scares the shit out of me just watching. We are doing a nice easy hike of monoa falls today with the 5 month old. Enjoy your trip.

Yeah I'd say mostly military here. Actually I'm pretty sure this land is still on Navy property. Now that I think about it it is. The "must wear seatbelts on Navy mag sort of gives it away.

That's a good point. Forgot how loud the planes were when they go over ewa.

Teddy's is fantastic!! Nice southern cooking spot called Dixie grill close to the alpha stadium on 99. Also a place right by ewa called auntie pasto's that is great too.

I'm not much help there. Wife got prego right when we got here. Sooo we have t gotten to hike as much. But we are doing monoa falls today. It's a rainforest hike to a large waterfall. Non challenging, easy hike.

Oahu! Yep. Lived on Helemano Military Resevation for 14 months a couple of life times ago. Loved it. Enjoy your stay IWP.

Although I have to say I didn't do the trail thing. NFW lol
