Probably had a cut or something that let it in. If you jump in any of the fresh water on the island be sure to get antibiotics immediately just to be safe.

Ended up doing Kuliouou today and the ridge between it and Mariners Ridge. Incredible stuff.

No, I wanted to but didn't have anyone to go with me and was leery of doing that one alone especially with having to find my way to the trailhead in the dark to beat the guard there at like 4 am.
