Sitting on the couch last night and I heard the little ice cream man jingle blaring as the van drove down our street. I ran to the door because it had been years since I had seen an ice cream man and I was excited. Sketchiest ice cream van I've ever seen. Then I got to thinking if they are all sketchy and I just don't remember how sketchy they were from childhood.

When is the last time you bought from an ice cream man and on a scale of 1 to 10 how shady were they?

When my kids were younger the ice cream truck came through the neighborhood often, I let them get stuff every once in awhile just because the shit was so expensive. That truck/driver always seemed pretty legit. There is a new ice cream truck in the neighborhood we live in now, and I wouldn't allow any young children around that pedo palace.

I think ice cream trucks are usually pretty shady, but when you're a kid you're just excited to get ice cream.

Yeah, the one that rolls through our neighborhood is creepy as fuck. There is an old retired guy who lives a few streets over who has a really nice ice cream truck, but he said he only goes up to New Albany to sell because he makes a lot more money :laugh:

I have never bought from an ice cream truck. I don't remember them being so shady when I was younger. I would probably give them a 6 now though.

The shadiest van I have ever seen belongs to my buddy Bloody Toothbrush who lives along the river.

We have one that rolls through town and it's pretty shady looking. Periodically the driver will pop his head out...

Used to love the ice cream truck. I don't recall ever being creeped out by one or by a driver...but I was pretty obtuse as a child. My HS principal once told me that I looked good in my cheerleading skirt and I just shrugged. (He was only my principal for one year...he was a shady mother fucker it turns out)

Btw...I had SEJ make these cookies for Mantooth for his birthday.

Lol, I tried to take a picture of the ice cream truck the other day. It's about a 1992 van with a hand made sign on one side. No way in hell would I let my kids buy ice cream from this guy.

When I was growing up, the ice cream man lived across the street from us. He was the real deal. Even had a soft serve machine. When he was done for the evening he would let us have whatever soft serve was left. He was a really nice guy, nothing pervy about him that I remember.

The one that runs through are town is a pretty shady looking dude. His wife (I assume it's his wife), sits in the front seat sucking down cigarettes while he sells the ice cream. Classy.

I see the 'normal' ice cream trucks when I go to the beach. They are licensed and regulated by the county, but I don't buy any because its too expensive.

When I was growing up it was pretty solid.....25 years later it is by far the creepiest thing on wheels in Jackson Ohio (pretty big statement).....

*My buddy Matt used to purposely wreck his bike into the Ice Cream Truck to get free ice cream....worked twice.
