Saw some rumors that it wasn't a recruiting letter but actually a rejection letter from the admissions department.

I'm not sure what's more pathetic. People issuing death threats on twitter or the media making news stories when people issue twitter death threats.

No excuse for death threats, but he said he was turned off by OSU fans when they criticized him for wearing a Michigan hat on his visit to OSU. Sounds like a dumb ass looking for trouble to me and I seriously doubt he was ever going to OSU with that attitude.

He wasn't on a visit to OSU. He was at a Nike camp and wore a Michigan hat to the mall. Everyone knows you can't do that in Columbus because the OSU fans can't handle it.

I went to a Michigan vs. PSU game a few years ago at Michigan Stadium. My OSU friend went along. I told him if he got into any trouble, I didn't have his back because he was stupid for wearing his OSU gear. But he had not one lick of trouble. A few fans razzed him with a "Go Blue" or "You have shit on your shirt" type comments. But never was he threatened in any way, shape or form. Even tailgating before and after was no problem.

That doesn't happen in Cbus.

I see tons of people in Columbus wearing UM stuff and I never see them getting harassed. On game day that's probably a different story. I lived on Lane ave during the 90's and I had a t-shirt that said "Michigan sucks" and it had a big UM helmet on it. I was walking down an alley on my way to the game and someone threw a bear bottle at me.

Penn state was probably the most hostile crowd I've ever seen, but when I went to UM for the game someone did get in my face and yell a little bit, but nothing too bad.

This kids story is so fucking stupid. I don't believe one bit of it. If he got a Michigan sucks, or fuck Michigan... Big fucking deal. But there's no chance in hell that anyone threw anything at him. First off, nobody would know who this dipshit is. I'm on bucknuts like 2 hours a day and I didn't have a clue who the hell he was. 2nd, nobody is throwing anything at a black kid who's 300+ pounds.... Gtfo!!

Not delusional. Sharing my experience. Of course Michigan fans harass OSU fans. But you can actually exist in AA with OSU gear and not fear for you life as much as the other way around.
