I grew up listening to Three 6 Mafia. Yeah I know their lyrics aren't sophisticated or really that good, but the beats they had in the 90's would still be "bangin'" if they came out today. They were heavy on the bass for sure. Three 6 made good smokin' songs if ya know what I mean haha. But I like old Outkast, Wu-Tang, Bone Thugs, and a ton more.

Of course Atmosphere too. SMH at myself.

And once upon a time...Mobb Deep was certainly near the top of the game. The Infamous was a classic. Too bad Prodigy and Havoc have these lame twitter wars with each other now....which usually end in one claiming his phone was stolen and that's why something negative was tweeted about the other.

A few of my old old school faves...

j_crazy;1182201 wrote:Drake is great. The mixtape shit he used to put out was awesome. The rest of ymcmb is retarded. I liked that group that sang "its bigger than hip hop" I think it was dead prez but I'm not sure. Been a long time since I was that devoted to music to remember the artists.

I will agree with this. Drake can hold his own when it comes to verbal sparring because he's so damn clever with his wordplay. Ultimately, I think Pusha T/G.O.O.D. music would get him and overall smash YM but Drake would land a few lyrical uppercuts and have a strong showing for himself in the whole thing.

Mobb Deep
GOOD Music
Wu Tang
Gangstarr
Bone Thugs N Harmony

Was a huge Mobb Deep fan back in the day.
Pusha T knocked out Lil Wayne in the first round of this stupid beef (hip hop beef is so dumb nowadays).
Wu Tang is the classic 90 person rap group that ruled.
Gangstarr was classic too. Love that song Moment of Truth.
Always been a BTNH fan too of course.

Forgot about Black Star. And I wish All-City Chess Club would've gone somewhere, but they only ended up putting out one song.
