I look forward to hiring TP at my McDonald's after his rookie contract ends and he blows all his money.

Me either. TP was a fairly poor QB at OSU. Never developed any throwing mechanics, always looked like he shot putting a ball.

Off the top of my head, I can think of one person who MIGHT have said something like that seriously (ie: not Sleeper, who might have made an exaggeration or two because one was an OSU player and the other went to TEAM SEC), as Pick6 was a LOT higher on Pryor than about anyone else and was more critical of Newton than some.

But I don't remember it being some wide-spread thing where this site was the one place in the world where the majority thought Pryor was going to be superior in the pros.

I was happy with his progression at OSU and another year could have done wonders for him, but unfortunately he is a total dumbass.

The mechanics were coming along, the consistency was not.

I remember people saying that if Cam could do it, Pryor could also, which is not THAT far fetched. But better than Cam? No fucking way.

I'd take Pryor over any ND QB of the last 20 years. I'd take Pryor with no arms over any ND QB over the last 20 years.

Seriously? There were more than a few saying Cam was a worse QB than TP simply because he "couldnt run a pro style offense" and thats why TP had the leg up on him since they both were athletic and big

Don't even waste any more time on it, you won't get anywhere. He was the greatest college qb of all time until tatgate, after that all of the guys that defended him suddenly saw the flaws in his game.

You can do better than that.

Pryor was under fire his entire career at OSU.

Matt Leinart will be the back up. Pryor's only chance is a change of position.

Make him cover up his nappy headed gangsta tat's, unless all your McDonald's are in the ghetto.

He won more BCS bowls in 1 year than ND has won in its entire history. Hell, he's vacated more BCS bowls than ND has won in its entire history.

Enjoy!

I think it's called "taking a handful of the most overzealous OSU fans (ie: CBF, Big Gain) and pretending the entire fanbase all was like that". The sort of thing that a lot of people do here. I've done it myself a few times. I mean, it's a really weak-sauce argument, but it can be surprisingly effective at getting under skins.

Yeah, it seems to be the MO of the anti-OSU crowd.

For more than cbf and big gain. I'm didn't say all osu fans, but it was the majority.

Ah, most of us do that from time to time. Cleveland fans do it to Pittsburgh fans and vice versa, college fans do it to each other (I wonder how many OSU fans let Michiganders know about how RichRod was supposed to be their savior). It's weak, but effective.
