Can anyone confirm this. I feel like he would be a good presence for the team.hoops23;1165521 wrote:SMH. I thought it was Late June/early July? And doesn't Damon have an out clause when Suckmore gets back?
SMH, not looking forward to strikemore. He is dead to me. Acta will probably put him at the 1 or 2 spot too, which will make it even worse. He should be batting 8th or 9th.BR1986FB;1165530 wrote:They said he already started "dry swinging" (similar to dry humping?) and should be ready by June.
It really pisses me off because will Acta likely try to phase him back? Probably not. He'll probably make him an every day player right out of the shoot and watch the offense sink like the Titanic.

he shouldn't be anywhere near the lineup to be honest. if he wants a shot at bullpen catcher, left field ball girl, kids play land slide supervisor, etc, then by all means, have at itlike_that;1165543 wrote:SMH, not looking forward to strikemore. That was the rumor, but it didn't turn out to be true.hoops23;1165521 wrote:And doesn't Damon have an out clause when Suckmore gets back?
From an April 14th article from the PD:
Damon is expected to sign a minor-league deal worth $1.25 million. He can make an additional $1.4 in performance incentives. Contrary to what has been reported, the deal doesn't include a no-trade clause or an opt out clause revolving around the return of Grady Sizemore from the disabled list.
Rather, the Indians and Scott Boras, Damon's agent, would discuss his status on the team if he's not a good fit or isn't playing much.
Damon then could be released.

He's not eligible to come off the DL until June 3, so that is the earliestBR1986FB;1165530 wrote:They said he already started "dry swinging" (similar to dry humping?) and should be ready by June.

wow, props to the camera guy coming back to those tits.
why is santana running on the base paths? its like he gets lucky once and now he feels he can steal whenever.

If Masterson can go 6+ of 3-4 runs (since he already gave up 2) I think Tribe wins. I think we get to Danks next time through the order. Some guys hit him hard, and made outs.
Plus, if it takes you 4068 pitches to put Shelly Duncan away, guys are obviously seeing the ball.

and you give up a double to Kotchman...yet no one else can get the ball out of the infield.Laley23;1165563 wrote:If Masterson can go 6+ of 3-4 runs (since he already gave up 2) I think Tribe wins. I think we get to Danks next time through the order. Some guys hit him hard, and made outs.

Entering tonight, the tribe offensive splits are pretty telling. Against right handed pitching, the team is hitting .259. Against lefties, the team is at .222...and dropping through 5 innings tonight.
I know my bud BRF isn't a big conspiracy theorist on the righty lefty theory, but it's hard to ignore the facts.

Im not big on R/L when you have great players. But we dont really have great players, and our best are S. Kipnis might get there, but not yet. When you have journeymen/mediocre players, splits are VERY telling.Footwedge;1165603 wrote:Entering tonight, the tribe offensive splits are pretty telling. Ump jobs Masterson. I hate home plate umpires...they all inhale.

Masterson is not pitching well, but has kept us in the game. Lets get some runs and give him an undeserved win, after fucking him out of about 15 wins since he came to the Tribe lol.

Masterson hasn't had it tonight, yet he's held them to only 2 runs. We need to find a way to get to the White Sox and get a win here.

Ha ha! I believe your "telling" stat is valid. I would just interject that my problem with the lefty vs. righty is when a hot pitcher is taken out because of it.Footwedge;1165603 wrote:

Masterson might want to think about seeing if Acta would let him bat. atleast then he knows he would be part of the reason there is no run support.

Then Konerko with a nice/lucky play. Liner by Brantly right into his glove and tags out Duncan for a DP.

We definitely can not afford to waste Casey Kotchman hits. They are so rare.

Big break, wouldve been close with Damon running. But still, gott take advantage. Need 3 here with the momentum and 2-3-4 up.
