My 3:

1. CWS
2. BOS
3. PHI/NYY

Also, awesome that we just got 2 wins, both of which were save situations, without having to use Pestano and Perez at all.

Awesome. Valverde was unavailable tonight for the Tigers. Fister goes 8 innings of SHO ball on 3 hits. Dotel comes in, and is ALL over the place. Walks 2, and throws 2 WPs to score a run. Montero then hits a 3-1 pitch off the wall in center to tie the game. Bunt and Sac Fly wins the game 3-2 in the 9th for Seattle.

Nice! Tribe up 3 on the Kitties, 5 on the Palehose. Very nice wins!

I'm hoping that this year is the opposite for the Tigers. Verlander and their closer were lights out in 2011. Both have shown that they aren't an automatic "lock", so far, this year. Tribe keeps on winning with maybe a little Motor City misfortune and this could be a fun season.

Getting contributions from everyone now. It's going to be a lot of fun if they keep this up.

That is huge...a whole doubleheader and we didn't need to use either of them.

Van Mil, 27, will report to Double-A Akron. The native of Oss, Netherlands, was pitching for Triple-A Salt Lake, where he compiled a 1-0 record and 6.30 ERA in eight games. In 30 appearances for Double-A Arkansas last season, Van Mil went 3-5 with a 2.04 ERA.
i am no expert, but those numbers dont sound impressive for the minors.

No kidding. With that height (and assumed wingspan) he should just be able to place the ball in the catchers mitt from the mound. ;)

I assume if he isn't throwing 100+ MPH already, a good pitching coach could help him get there. If he is that tall and can't throw 95+ he should quit now.

Correct me if I am wrong but the Tribe's record when you are in attendance is pretty good, right?

I dunno about Hits, but I've been to 30+ games over the last 3 seasons and the Tribe has dropped 5 or 6 of them that I've been to.

I'm 1-1 this year. Lost in extras to Toronto and beat Texas.

Enjoy the winning while we can, guys. Heard on the radio that the "momentum killer", Strikemore will be back soon. :(

SMH. I thought it was Late June/early July? And doesn't Damon have an out clause when Suckmore gets back?

They said he already started "dry swinging" (similar to dry humping?) and should be ready by June.

It really pisses me off because will Acta likely try to phase him back? Probably not. He'll probably make him an every day player right out of the shoot and watch the offense sink like the Titanic.
