Will you guys check and see if you have permissions to edit users now? I think I might have got that set up correctly.

I set up two new "infraction" levels. Rules warning and rules infraction. Use these when enforcing the rules going forward. I am going to delete the database table with all previous infractions. I'll save a version of it as a excel file but I am starting everyone fresh as far as the site is concerned.

I am also working on setting up automatic bans to take care of the ban lengths after getting infracted. Should make your work after actually giving the infraction zero.

Not too thrilled that you added in an extra warning step. the initial post here was warning, month, permanent.

It was there in the initial post.
I am pretty sure we discussed giving a warning from the get go.From now on you get one warning.

Now, I did add the "week ban" length. But the warning was always there.

Is there anyway to make the announcement a must read?

I meant the added "step" in a week's ban like you said. Warning step was the wrong term to use (though a week might as well just be a second warning).justincredible;1168969 wrote:Now, I did add the "week ban" length. But the warning was always there.

My thought process was that after the first warning we're probably only going to be dealing with a handful or so of people. It's probably wishful thinking but I thought the week would show them that we're actually serious this time and they'd shape up.

I think people should be infracted for abusing the report feature

Looks OK. I'm going to try and set my brother's account to another setting and see if it works on his end.justincredible;1168947 wrote:Will you guys check and see if you have permissions to edit users now? I think I might have got that set up correctly.

So far I've yet to be able to limit him to the basement only. I set it to basement only in the forum permissions (turn all forums to "No", set basement to either "Yes" or "Default", neither one worked, and he sees no forums.)ts1227;1169061 wrote:Looks OK. Am I even doing it the way I should?

I think the mods should just quit responding in that thread honestly. The fact is, it is justin's site and he can do what he wants...he doesn't need to justify it. They are just trying to twist and turn things now....no need to respond. Also, wildcat, you should take down your skyhook post...lmao, that is def not a good idea.

I also stickied a thread regarding the new rules in the football forum since threads being derailed is a big problem there.

Also, wildcats, I'm going to give you a ceremonial warning. Maybe they will shut the fuck up.

it is not that they are dumb, it is that they are just picking and prodding at things...like I knew they would. We need to just let them stew on things and stop responding.wildcats20;1169253 wrote:These fucking people.

Where does 2kool's porn gif fall this time? There's some bouncing sideboob, nothing bad, but you obviously know what it is.
