..were that big into playing basketball.

In our small, quiet town there is a complex of about 10 tennis courts with lights at night. The last 4-6 weeks when the weather has been decent there is a group of mexicans who go out there after dark and play hoops. LIghts darn near light up the whole town!

NOt that I have a problem with it....I just never knew that Mexicans were that into basketbal.

Only the Black Hispanc are into Basketball, White Hispanic are into shooting non-Black Hiapanic :D and tennis

The house where I lived in Mexico as an exchange student in 1974 had a hoop. It's not their #1 sport, but it has always had a decent amount of popularity.

When I lived in Largo Florida they used to play a lot from 6 pm on. I was surprised too.

All they do here is meet up on a field every Sunday and play soccer, while I'm droping off my recycling.

Maybe they are straight from their home land of Arizona and Texas. Many Mexicans from the Mexico/USA border states are 3rd shifters, sleep when it's hottest during the day.

My apologies to the Mexicans. I guess it wasnt them playing hoops all these nights.

It is a group of people from the Marshall (sp?) Islands off of Austrailia!
