To be fair, he said if Obama was re-elected, he (Nugent) would be dead or in jail by this time next year. I agree that it does sound like a threat on someone's life, if that certain someone wins the election.

That is quite the leap to say that means he is going to assassinate the POTUS.

The secret service didn't think his comments or actions were a threat either after meeting with Mr. Nugent.
