The soft throwing LH pitcher becomes the oldest pitcher (49 y/o, +150 days) to win a MLB game since recorded history. He was winning 5-2 in the ninth before the closer gave up a home run and got two more guys on with singles, before getting the next batter out with the pitch that Moyer would be proud of: the changeup.
He is a great family guy that runs a charity. He has pitch for at least the Cubs, Phillies, Mariners, and Rockies. Don't look now, he may look to extend his record next Sunday or Monday. If it's Monday, he may have a chance to pitch against the Pirates. If he has to pitch against the Pirates, I am sure he already shaking in his boots. LOL
