There's a bonehead play by #42 on that Heisey pop-up!

That's the first baseman #42 for not hustling in to relieve the catcher #42 from the awkward play.mhs95_06;1144617 wrote:There's a bonehead play by #42 on that Heisey pop-up!

What a shame the Reds let another lead get away by not adding to it. This time in the 7th when the table was set perfectly by Hanigan, Leake, and BP(probably at the sacrifice of several more games he'll have to sit out) for it to be frittered away by a poor AB by Cozart who put a real blemish on his 2/4 day so far with that AB, and the last out by Rolen, a K. By far the worst let down was Cozart.

Great play by Desmond, especially including the decision on how to play it with the fleet Stubbs flying to 1B!

Rolen way past his prime and Cozart made no amends for his AB in the 7th!

Reds getting pretty close to a rarity - losing three extra inning games in a series. I'll bet never in history has a team lost all 4 of a 4 games series in extra innings. Jackson, Bailey, and LaRoche saw to it yesterday that it didn't happen this series.

Brantley embellishing a little bit on the 4th ball to Valdez saying it was a good 7-8' outside! At most it was 4'!

Hanigan nearly had a beautiful hit and run base-hit! Just a bit further to the right or a little less good reaction by Espinosa and it would have been 1st and 3rd, with two out though.

Wouldn't scoring 1.7 runs a game for the previous 6 games(1.5 runs per 9 innings) be a prime harbinger to see it coming?Rotinaj;1144666 wrote:Lol 4 runs in the first and then only 1 in the next 9. Didn't see that coming.......

Stubbs gets a hit on his 2nd blooper up the middle. Sometimes good things happen when you don't K!

How many did we lose in that 4 games series at philly 2 years ago?

That is at least 3 Reds bunts this series that were dismally popped up. I do not like the bunt and run there, why not just hit and run?

Votto's drive to left did the same thing to DeRosa as Desmond's drive to center in the 5th to Heisey!

Rolen's hands look incredibly slow. constantly gassed on 92 mph fastballs. Good thing he is great defensively and does the little things.
I can't see him in the 4 hole much longer.
