I have always been a HB fan and supporter, but there is a time when "he wasnt bad outside of the XXX inning" excuse doesnt cut it. There are many ML pitchers throughout history who had that same downfall.
I always hate when a manager or reporter always says "one bad inning" or "one bad pitch". That is all it takes in the bigs to punch you ticket outta the league, or to the BP. I always HATE that one bad pitch mantra managers us. Ugh. He didnt throw just one bad pitch. He threw many bad pitches, it is just that other bad pitches maybe were swung and missed, fouled off, taken, or hit right at someone.
I am not ready to pull the plug on HB, but at some point he needs to get over that 'just one bad inning' thing ya know. That excuse doesnt cut it on a regular basis when you have bene in the league for a few years.
