He was crap early this year but in February and March has given up <2 goals a game with a .939 save percentage. If he can carry his recent performance into the playoffs they could be pesky for Pittsburgh.
I'm hoping they beat the crap out of each other and go 7 so if the bruins get by the caps they can beat on a bruised team. I just think it'll be a shorter series than people think.

Big Jimmy Howard fan - but would like to see Nashville make a deep run.

Honestly, I'm engaged to a huge Red Wings fan and I'd never admit this to her, but I'd like to see Nashville do well as well. They could be a good "sleeper" team coming out of the west, I really like the way that team is put together. Their fans seem to "get it" as well, which is rare for a southern team.

Pulling for Detroit and the Datsuykian (take a drink) one. But their form to end the year has really tempered my expectations. They leave a lot to be desired. But as always, they have the experience, and it wouldnt shock me or anyone else if they made a deep run...or got bounced in 5.

Going to Game 5 of this series.

It'll be a war. But I think if the Pens survive this series they'll have a good shot to reach the finals.

I like the flyers in this series. There is some bad blood and I think Philli Will be more focused. It should be a great series though

I personally think the Rangers will struggle this year, again.

They have 0 secondary scoring outside of Richards, Gaborik, and Callahan.

Come on Detroit has been resting everyone down the stretch. Before that they were the #1 seed. This team is still great and the most dangerous underdog out there.

Btw I've got Boston-Detroit in the finals

I don't know why people think the Philly/Pitts series will be an easy one. Like all the times they've played before I expect a war.

Of course I'd like Pitts to wrap it up quick, but I'll be surprised if it goes less than 6.

I'm hoping they're beat to hell by the second round, but i think Philly is weak on D and in goal. I could see all the games being close but i think Pitt is a much deeper team and will win in 5. If it goes 6 i don't think it'll be a close 6, by that i mean Pitt goes up 3-1 then closes it out in the 6th.

I hope detroit loses first round, just like their football team, so you can shut up about them.
