This Bruins-Caps series is pretty damn good hockey. Ironically the best/toughest I've seen Wash play in years.

I'm surprised that the Caps-Bruins series resumes tomorrow without a day off and having to change venues.

with the way the wizards and celtics schedules are, it was kind of unavoidable

Nice comeback by the Blues to knock out the Sharks last night.

Missed the second goal channel-flipping.

Hitch was obviously the problem in C'bus, not the guys who still have their jobs.

It was nice to see jay beagle do well for the caps. Loved watching him and gordon when they were in Hershey. And Holtby is finally what the caps need. A reliable goaltender.

Riots in Vancouver tonight?! I'm just pissed the annual Luongo meltdown was cockblocked by Cory Schneider.

Anywho, Kings-Blues in round 2 just like everyone predicted right?!

Game 7 on Wednesday! Hopefully Seguin can start scoring more after that OT winner. I'm pulling for Ottawa and Florida to close out their series - would make life easier for Boston if they can get by Washington on Wednesday.

Why did they play back to back days only to now skip 2 to play game 7?

Probably NBA schedules. Will be interesting with the Lakers, Clips, and Kings all in the playoffs juggling Staples Center

That is seriously going to be crazy. At least for Lakers/Clips they just have to change the court and banners around the arena.

Going from a hockey game to an NBA game takes on average about 4 hours. Really not as difficult as you'd think.

Except when they have to be on the same day, like they already did once (Lakers than Kings). Lakers went OT, and the arena was changed in just over 3 hours, like 11 minutes before it needed to be changed. They also have to wait, legal ramification purposes, until everyone is out of the arena to start changing over.

Schedule will probably end up looking something like this (assuming Blues/Kings kicks off on Friday):

Sunday: Lakers (Game 1)
Monday: Clippers (Game 1)
Tuesday: Lakers (Game 2)
Wednesday: Kings (Game 3)
Thursday: Clippers (Game 2)
Friday: Kings (Game 4)

But the NBA doesn't like to do just one day between games of a series. Anyway, I think it will be a scheduling nightmare.

I think they are better off playing on the same day. Clippers at the early slot, Lakers the late slot. So, like 12:30 PST and 7:30.

Haha I thought the capitals would get blasted this series. They really have surprised me. I keep waiting for Holtby to have one of his wtf moments but he has been great this series. Game 7 will be awesome I rely can't wait.

The caps choked this year and are better than a 7 seed - they have the fire power to beat anyone. Holtby hasn't let the magnitude of these games get to him and is keeping his team alive. If thomas stops letting in soft goals I think the Bruins can get back to the finals, especially if FL and Ottawa close out their series.

Holtby has always been calm under pressure. He's as calm as I have seen a goaltender under the situation he's in. That is just his style though. Game 7 is going to be a great game. Ovetchkin needs to step up in game 7. He played like a mad man after he scored that tying goal. Hopefully he can carry it over

Id say Chicago is done. But Phoenix may give up 4 goals and have it go to OT again. About 2 min away from that happening. Too much time left to blow it again lol.

I'll take LA in 7 and Nashville in 6. There is going to be some great goaltending out West.
